Welcome to Diversely Creative

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. It’s a blog that provides content on the intersections of disability and writing and disability and books. I’ll be talking about stuff like what it is like to be a disabled writer as I am both a writer and blind myself, as well as representation of disabled people in fiction, what’s working, what’s not and what people should be doing if they’re writing about disability. If you want to find out more about what this blog will be about head over to the about page.

For today’s post, I just wanted to let you know a little bit about what to expect in the coming months.

For the foreseeable future, I intend to post every 2 weeks. To start with, I’m interested in sharing some of the resources out there that I’ve found as well as exploring some of the issues around disability representation that people commonly don’t understand.

In the meantime, you can find me on Twitter at @diverselycreate If you have any ideas, suggestions or anything you think I should know about then email me at diverselycreativeblog@gmail.com or head over to the contact page.

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you’ll drop back regularly.

  1. Hey there, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility
issues. When I look at your blog site in Firefox,
it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that,
    excellent blog! http://keo365.com/the-thao
